 Yesterday I attended the Mountain Valley Field trial at Christie Marsh near Hamilton.  Only Artemis and I made the trip.
Artemis was run in the Puppy Stake and placed 3rd in a field of 10 dogs.  As I suspected, this puppy stake required one mark that was much ‘meatier’ than to differentiate the field of pups.  [...]

 Our plans for our two dogs started out simple.

1) Get pet dog, allow the entire family to have some fun playing dog games with him.
2) Encourage our kids to play along with us
3) Run some hunt tests get some success
4) Have my daughter take an active interest in training / handling

We returned from the LOC field trial late yesterday night.  We all had a good time.
